Asian markets trade mostly higher in early deals on Wednesday

Asian markets traded mostly higher in early deals on Wednesday, as the kindled by the optimism after monetary policy announcements from the Bank of Japan, People's Bank of China and the Reserve Bank of Australia. Regional indices also got cheered with the positive global indices overnight. However, some gains remained trimmed amid caution ahead to the conclusion of the Fed meeting later today. The central bank is expected to hold rates steady for the fifth gathering later today and offer economic projections. South Korea’s KOSPI advanced the most among Asian indices. Stock market of Japan is closed for Vernal Equinox holiday. 

Straits Times rose 7.42 points 0.23% to 3,180.97, Hang Seng up by 30.29 points 0.18% to 16,559.77, KOSPI Index higher 33.59 points or 1.26% to 2,689.76, and Shanghai Composite increased by 13.91 points or 0.45% to 3,076.67.

On the flip side, Taiwan Weighted down 47.54 points or 0.24% to 19,809.66, Jakarta Composite dipped by 1.86 points or 0.03% to 7,334.89, and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI lower by 3.94 points or 0.25% to 1,541.02.
