Epigral has successfully commissioned of an additional 45,000 TPA (Tonnes Per Annum) capacity of CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride) resin plant at its Dahej facility in Gujarat. With this expansion, the company’s total CPVC resin capacity reaches a remarkable 75,000 TPA, positioning it as the largest CPVC resin facility in the world at a single location.
This milestone signifies the company’s commitment to meeting the growing demand for CPVC resins in India and globally. The organization's move into CPVC resin production is consistent with the Government of India's initiatives like Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India, which aim to make India more self-reliant. The new capacity addition will thus help in reducing India’s reliance on imports of CPVC and further strengthen the country’s foreign exchange reserves.
