Venus Remedies has informed that it has been awarded with Rs 2.50 crore under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, which covers balance 25% of the total incentive of Rs.10.00 crores. The initial disbursement of Rs 7.50 crore was awarded by the Central Government earlier this month. Following the latest disbursement, the company has now received 100% of the incentive owed to the company for the financial year 2022-23 under the PLI scheme. This incentive further strengthens its commitment to innovation and excellence in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
