RCOM partners with HTC to offer 3G bundled data services: Report

Reliance Communications (RCOM), the country’s no 3 mobile phone carrier by customers has reportedly partnered with HTC to offer 3G bundled data services, including free 3G data trial packs and special offers on Whatsapp and other applications on the new HTC One handset being launched in India.

This marks the first of RCom’s 3G handset bundling offers, soon to be followed by a similar partnership with Lenovo. Other telecom companies including Vodafone and Airtel also offer similar 3G data bundling offers with handset vendors, Samsung and Sony Ericsson, respectively.
