Century Plyboards (India) has completed disposal and transfer of its entire stake in Century Ply (Singapore) (CSPL) on April 23, 2024. Consequently, CSPL remains a subsidiary of the Company till April 22, 2024. Further, Century Ply Laos Co. and Century Huesoulin Plywood Lao Co., both subsidiaries of CSPL, also cease to be step-down subsidiaries of the Company from the said date.
Earlier, the Board of Directors had approved disposal of its investments in its non-material subsidiary, Century Ply (Singapore) due to shut-down of its operation and that of its step-down subsidiaries in Laos since more than five years.
Century Plyboards (India) is largest seller of plywood and decorative veneers in the Indian organized plywood market.
