FIIs net buyers of Rs 346.66 crore in futures and options segments on October 26

According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 346.66 crore in futures and options segments on Wednesday, October 26, 2011.

FII’s were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 200.72 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 178.37 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net sellers of stock futures worth Rs 31.07 crore and they also sold stock options to the tune of Rs 1.36 crore.

Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on October 26, 2011 is 36.81%.
