APL Apollo Tubes reports 16% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

APL Apollo Tubes has reported results for fourth quarter (Q4) and year ended March 31, 2024.

The company has reported 62.24% fall in its net profit at Rs 57.34 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 151.86 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 9.28% at Rs 3353.66 crore for Q4FY24 as compared Rs 3696.76 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 15.54% fall in its net profit at Rs 170.44 crore for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2024 as compared to Rs 201.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 7.54% at Rs 4,784.31 crore for Q4FY24 as compared Rs 4,449.05 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2024, the company has reported 11.37% fall in net profit at Rs 453.71 crore as compared to Rs 511.92 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 2.83% at Rs 13,915.48 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 14,321.20 crore for year ended March 31, 2023.

For the year ended March 31, 2024, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported 14.11% rise in its net profit at Rs 732.44 crore as compared to Rs 641.86 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 12.21% at Rs 18,193.67 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 16,213.13 crore for year ended March 31, 2023.
