The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net buyers in both equity and debt segments , according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 14771.36 crore against gross selling of Rs 12636.82 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2134.54 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1399.30 crore with gross sales of Rs 1120.08 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 279.22 crore in debt.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 20.03 crore against gross selling of Rs 40.18 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 20.15 crore in hybrid segment.
