Dalmia Bharat has reported 7% growth in May despatches at 865 thousand tonnes as compared to 809 thousand tonnes in May 2012. The company’s May production increased 8% to 859 thousand tonnes as against 796 thousand tonnes in May 2012.
For the year ended May 31, 2013, the company has registered 6% rise in Cement Despatch at 1,649 thousand tonnes in May’13 as against 1,555 thousand tonnes in previous years. Cement Production of the company has increased to 1,630 thousand tonnes as compared to Rs 1,563 thousand tonnes in May12, up by 4%.
Dalmia Bharat is a cement manufacturer with plants in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh with a capacity of nine million tonnes per annum. The company is engaged in the business of cement, thermal power & other businesses.
