Heidelberg Cement India, despite witnessing weak demand on Y-o-Y basis, has not cut prices of cement but increased them in some markets. While, the company has taken the price hike in range of 2-5% in some markets, it has upped prices of cement by Rs 5-30 per bag for the month of May. Further, although the company expects the demand to grow by 10%, but it largely expects it to remain sluggish.
