Reliance Communication (RCom) and Reliance Industries' (RIL) subsidiary - Reliance Jio Infocomm, reportedly, may sign a tower deal on June 7, 2013. The deal will cover over 40,000 towers of RCom.
Earlier in April, Reliance Jio Infocomm inked a definitive agreement with RCom for approximately Rs 1,200 crore as one time indefeasible right to use (IRU) fees for sharing RCOM’s nationwide inter-city fiber optic network infrastructure.
