UPL has incorporated new wholly-owned subsidiary namely ‘UPL Agri Mauritius’. The company has incorporated wholly-owned subsidiary to carry out trading of chemicals including agro-chemicals, agri commodity and other related products. As UPL has different business verticals, separate trading company is incorporated to take care of separate business vertical.
The company is planning to invest upto $10 million in line with the business plan in the form of equity or any other security/form as may be deemed appropriate in various tranches. The Company has received an intimation about issuance of certificate of incorporation on June 26, 2024.
UPL is global player of crop protection products has customer base in 123 countries. It has subsidiary offices in Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Canada, Denmark, Indonesia, France, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Mauritius, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, South Africa, USA, UK, Vietnam and Zambia.
