Coal industry stocks trade higher on the BSE, after India’s coal production in June 2024 stood at 84.63 million tonne (MT) (Provisional), with a growth rate of 14.49% compared to the corresponding period in the previous year, which was 73.92 MT. India’s coal dispatches for June 2024 reached 85.76 MT (Provisional) up by 10.15% compared to the same period last year when it was recorded at 77.86 MT.
Coal India is currently trading at Rs. 483.90, up by 4.95 points or 1.03 % from its previous closing of Rs. 478.95 on the BSE.
NLC India is currently trading at Rs. 259.95, up by 2.25 points or 0.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 257.70 on the BSE.
Sandur Manganese & Iron Ores is currently trading at Rs. 552.45, up by 5.30 points or 0.97 % from its previous closing of Rs. 547.15 on the BSE.
