Physical Rubber prices witnessed some strength on Thursday due to strong demand and tightness of availability of natural rubber in the domestic market. Reports showed that the growth in natural rubber consumption in the country continues to outpace production growth.
Spot prices for RSS-4 variety unchanged at its previous closing of Rs 206/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety rose at Rs 204/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 203/ kg.
