Physical Rubber prices witness strength on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices witnessed strength on Thursday due to firm demand in the domestic market, while Automotive Tyre Manufacturers' Association said last week that its members are witnessing a severe crunch in the availability of domestic natural rubber and it may disrupt production unless supply issues of the raw material are addressed.

Spot prices for RSS-4 variety gained at Rs 207/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 206.50/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety rose at Rs 205/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 204.50/ kg.
