Varun Beverages has informed that the Board of Directors at their meeting held today (started at 11:30 am and concluded at 11:45 am), approved to enter into following exclusive agreements: (i) Varun Foods (Zimbabwe) (wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company) and Premier Nutrition Trading LLC, Dubai (subsidiary of PepsiCo Inc.) to manufacture, distribute & sell snacks ‘Simba Munchiez’ in the territory of Zimbabwe on or before October 1, 2025 (i.e. the expected date of start of commercial production from its own manufacturing facility) and (ii) Varun Beverages (Zambia) (subsidiary of the Company) and Premier Nutrition Trading LLC, Dubai (subsidiary of PepsiCo Inc.) to manufacture, distribute & sell snacks ‘Simba Munchiez’ in the territory of Zambia on or before April 1, 2026 (i.e. the expected date of start of commercial production from its own manufacturing facility). The detailed disclosure as required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 read with SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/CFD-PoD1/P/CIR/2023/123 dated July 13, 2023 is enclosed as Annexure I.
