Bharat Electronics moves up on reporting 47% rise in Q1 consolidated net profit

Bharat Electronics is currently trading at Rs. 322.05, up by 0.70 points or 0.22% from its previous closing of Rs. 321.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 325.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 326.75 and Rs. 319.55 respectively. So far 1608972 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 340.35 on 10-Jul-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 123.55 on 03-Aug-2023.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 326.75 and Rs. 293.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 235374.88 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.14%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 38.04% and 10.82% respectively.

Bharat Electronics has reported 46.21% rise in net profit at Rs 776.14 crore for first quarter ended June 30, 2024 (Q1FY25) as compared to Rs 530.84 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 20.47% at Rs 4,400.27 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 3,652.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported 46.91% rise in its net profit at Rs 791.28  crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 538.60 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 21.07% at Rs 4,447.15 crore for Q1FY25 as compared to Rs 3,673.17 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
