Zee Entertainment Enterprises has received approval to acquire additional 20% stake in Margo Networks (Margo), a subsidiary of the Company. The Company holds 80% stake in Margo. The acquisition of 20% stake in Margo is for better administrative control and efficiency as a 100% subsidiary.
Margo was incorporated on August 17, 2016 and offers technology platform to connect end consumers with various over the top players across media, commerce, and other industries. Margo does not have any presence outside India. The Board of Directors of the Company in its meeting held on July 31, 2024 has approved the same.
Zee Entertainment Enterprises is one of India’s leading television media and entertainment companies. It is amongst the largest producers and aggregators of Hindi programming in the world.
