Shyam Metalics reports over 3-fold jump in stainless steel sales in July 2024

Shyam Metalics and Energy has reported over 3- fold jump in stainless steel sales to 5,699 MT in July 2024 as compared to 1,786 MT in July 2023. The sales of Aluminium Foil stood at 1,571 MT in July 2024 as compared to 1,229 MT in July 2023, i.e. up by 28%. Carbon Steel’s sales rose 4% to 1,31,161 MT in July 2024 as against 1,25,845 MT in July 2023.

The sales of Speciality Alloys stood at 19,300 MT in July 2024 as compared to 16,044 MT in July 2023, i.e. up by 20%. Pellet sales was 1,03,729 MT in July 2024 against 83,963 MT a year ago. Sponge Iron’s sales rose 53% to 85,447 MT in July 2024 as against 55,701 MT in July 2023.
