Infosys gains on joining ODCA as a contributing member

Infosys is currently trading at Rs. 2389.05, up by 22.15 points or 0.94% from its previous closing of Rs. 2366.90 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 2370.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 2395.00 and Rs. 2370.00 respectively. So far 3,840 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 5 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3010.00 on 07-Mar-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2101.65 on 26-Jul-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 2460.00 and Rs. 2343.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,37,187.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 16.04% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 58.03% and 13.59% respectively.  Infosys, a global consulting and technology leader, has joined Open Data Center Alliance (ODCA) as a contributing member. Infosys will contribute its proven expertise in cloud and big data to ODCA’s mission of developing a unified vision for an enterprise's cloud and big data requirements based on open, interoperable standards.

Infosys will contribute to working groups that will focus on strengthening industry standards in areas like interoperability, manageability, businesses processes and governance.

ODCA is led by steering committee which includes IT leaders from BMW, Capgemini, China Unicorn, Deutsche Bank, Disney Technology Solutions and Services, JPMorgan Chase, Lockheed Martin, Marriott International, Inc., National Australia Bank (NAB), Nu Data, T-Systems, Terremark and UBS.
