Anna Hazare breaks his 19-day vow of silence

Anti-corruption activist Anna Hazare broke his vow of silence today at Mahatma Gandhi's memorial Rajghat. Hazare thereafter warned to campaign against ruling Congress government in five election-bound states if the Lokpal Bill is not passed during the winter session of parliament starting on November 22, 2011.

Hazare said "The government's intentions about a strong Lokpal bill are not clear. If they will not pass the Jan Lokpal Bill in the winter session, then I along with other members (of Team Anna) will campaign against the government."

Hazare had also written to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to pass the draft Lokpal Bill in the winter session. In case government fails to do so, social crusader will travel across country to campaign against UPA. Hazare had earlier also threaten and acted on such similar warning to UPA government.
