The FIIs on Friday were net buyers in equities while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 1887.20 crore against gross sell of Rs 1809.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 77.90 crore in equities on November 4, 2011.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 120.60 crore with gross sales of Rs 1058.40 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 937.80 crore in debt on November 4, 2011.
