Tata Communication’s subsidiary -- Tata Communication Payment Solutions -- is reportedly planning to launch white label ATMs across the country. The company’s subsidiary will roll out around 15,000 ATMs in the next three years, that is, 5000 ATMs per year. In this regard, the company will invest around Rs 100 crore.
The company will roll out these ATMs under the brand name ‘Tata’. White label ATMs are those which do not carry the label of a bank. These are owned and operated by non-bank entities like corporates.
