Shree Cement trades in green on lightning up clinker manufacturing unit

Shree Cement is currently trading at Rs. 4546.00, up by 25.05 points or 0.55% from its previous closing of Rs. 4520.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 4516.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 4546.00 and Rs. 4505.05 respectively.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 5210.00 on 31-May-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2805.10 on 09-Jul-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 4924.00 and Rs. 4451.15 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15732.49 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.79 %, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.41 % and 21.80 % respectively.

Shree Cement has lighted up its clinker manufacturing unit having capacity of 6,000 ton per day (TPD) located at Bangur City, Ras in Pali District in state of Rajasthan on June 20, 2013.

Shree Cement (SCL), belonging to B G Bangur - H M Bangur faction of Bangur family of Kolkata, is engaged in manufacturing of cement and power generation. SCL’s eight cement plants in Rajasthan and one grinding unit in Uttrakhand have an aggregate capacity of 13.5 mn tonnes p.a. (PPC; OPC capacity -9 mn tonnes p.a.)
