Reliance Industries’ textile brand - Vimal to come up with new offerings

Reliance Industries’ heritage textile brand - Vimal is planning to underline its presence in fabrics segment, with the introduction of new offerings in the fashion and lifestyle category. The company has decided to focus on fabrics instead, in a competitive and cluttered environment. It aims to come up with several innovations in the area of fashion and value added fabrics, with a new agency and campaign to build the brand in the fabrics category.

At present, Vimal has 20 company-owned stores and 1,700 franchises of which 400 are exclusively stocking the Vimal brand of suiting, shirts, trousers and accessories.
