Tejas Networks rises on bagging final purchase order worth Rs 96.42 crore from NewSpace India

Tejas Networks is currently trading at Rs. 1226.80, up by 19.70 points or 1.63% from its previous closing of Rs. 1207.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1222.45 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1235.00 and Rs. 1211.50 respectively. So far 22003 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1495.10 on 27-Jun-2024 and a 52 week low of Rs. 652.05 on 28-Mar-2024.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1275.00 and Rs. 1180.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 20900.68 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 55.50%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 15.10% and 29.40% respectively.

Tejas Networks’ majority owned and controlled subsidiary -- Saankhya Labs (Saankhya) has bagged final purchase order worth Rs 96.42 crore from NewSpace India (a Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under Dept. of Space, Govt. of India) for supply, installation and commissioning of Two-way Mobile Satellite Service (MSS) Terminals (Xponders) for vessel communication and support system in marine fishing vessels for monitoring, control and surveillance (MCS).
