Piramal Enterprises, Jio Financial Services and Kajaria Ceramics to see some action today

Piramal Enterprises has raised Rs 50 crore through the allotment of 5,000 Secured, Rated, Listed, Redeemable, Non-Convertible Debentures (Debentures) each having a face value of Rs 1,00,000, on a private placement basis. These Debentures are proposed to be listed on the Debt Segment and Capital Market Segment of National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) and BSE respectively, and NSE being the designated Stock Exchange. The Meeting of Administrative Committee (‘Committee’) of the Board of Directors of the Company held on August 27, 2024, approved allotment of the same. 

Jio Financial Services (JFSL) has subscribed to 6,80,00,000 equity shares of Rs 10 each of Jio Payments Bank (JPBL), for cash at par, aggregating Rs 68 crore for its business purposes. Post this investment, the company’s holding in JPBL has increased from 78.95% to 82.17%. The investment is a related party transaction and is on arm’s length basis.

Kajaria Ceramics has received approval for increase in the limits of investment by the company in Kajaria International DMCC (U.A.E.), a wholly-owned subsidiary company, from Rs 15 crore to Rs 30 crore, in one or more tranches, by way of subscribing shares and/or granting loan(s) and/or providing guarantee(s), subject to compliance of applicable laws. The proposed investment aims to the fund requirements of Kajaria International for capitalising the growing opportunities in other parts of the world including to acquire retail outlets in U.K. The Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on August 27, 2024, have, inter-alia, considered and approved the same.

Paras Defence and Space has received approval for raising funds aggregating up to Rs 200 crore through Qualified Institutions Placement (QIP) in terms of Chapter VI of Securities and Exchange Board of India (Issue of Capital and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2018, as amended (the “SEBI ICDR Regulations”) and/or any other permissible mode(s), in accordance with the SEBI ICDR Regulations and other applicable regulations, through public and/or private offerings of equity shares and/or any other convertible securities, in one or more tranches and/or one or more issuances simultaneously, subject to necessary approvals including the approval of the members of the company and such other regulatory/ statutory approvals as may be required. The Board of Directors of the company, at its meeting held on August 27, 2024 has inter alia approved the same.

The platform is supported by the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software platform, underpinned by NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPUs, and the NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking platform.

Zodiac Energy has been awarded its First Order from Africa Region, for Designing, Engineering, Supplying, Installing, Testing, and Commissioning of Grid Tied Ground Mounted Solar System Turnkey basis for Mansa Sugar (Zambia, Africa) at the aggregate value of $10,83,720.00 (Rs 9.08 crore).

Zydus Lifesciences (including its subsidiaries/ affiliates, hereafter referred to as Zydus) has received final approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) to market Amantadine extended-release capsules, 68.5 mg, and tentative approval for 137 mg (USRLD: Gocovri (amantadine) extended-release capsules, 68.5 mg and 137 mg). This approval makes Zydus eligible for 180 days of exclusivity for Amantadine extendedrelease capsules, 68.5 mg.
