South Indian Bank informs about disclosure

30 Aug 2024 Evaluate

South Indian Bank has informed that the Bank has received the following demand orders from: Office of the Deputy Commissioner of State Tax, Mumbai Maharashtra (GST) on August 29, 2024 at 6.41 PM levying a penalty of Rs 23,85,726; Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Department of Commercial Taxes, State of Karnataka (GST) on August 30, 2024 at 3.05 PM levying a penalty of Rs 32,084. The Bank is evaluating appropriate legal remedy, including appeal/other legal remedies as per law. The details as required under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 read with SEBI Circular dated July 13, 2023 are enclosed as Annexure A.
