IOC wins annual PetroFed Oil & Gas Industry Awards for 2012

State-owned Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has won the annual PetroFed Oil & Gas Industry Awards for 2012. The company was adjudged the Leading Oil & Gas Corporate of the Year and the Oil & Gas Marketing - Company of the Year. It also got the Special Commendations for Environment Sustainability Company of the Year award.

Besides, the company shared the Innovator of the Year (Team) Award with Engineers India for developing Diesel Hydrotreating and Light Naphtha Isomerization technologies for product quality improvement. The awards were given away by Oil Minister M Veerappa Moily, Petroleum Federation of India (PetroFed), an association of public and private sector oil companies.

IOC is the largest enterprise in the country and the foremost ranked Fortune Global 500 Company in India and has presence in the complete hydrocarbon value chain from downstream refining & marketing, pipeline transportation, Petrochemicals, E&P and Gas Marketing.
