Genus Power Infrastructures has incorporated two wholly-owned step-down subsidiaries, namely Genus Shekhawati Smart Metering Solutions SPV and Genus Marwar Smart Metering Solutions SPV. The company has incorporated these subsidiaries on September 10, 2024.
These subsidiaries are incorporated as Special Purpose Vehicle (SPVs) for execution of Advanced Metering Infrastructure Service Provider (AMISP) Contract. In the above SPVs, the 100% shareholding held by Genus Metering Communication -- wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.
Genus Power Infrastructures (GPIL) is engaged in the manufacture and distribution of electronic energy meters, power distribution management projects, hybrid microcircuits, inverters, batteries, home UPS and online UPS in India and abroad.
