Abbott India, Phoenix Mills and Dhruv Consultancy Services to see some action today

Abbott India has signed a non-exclusive patent license agreement with Takeda Pharmaceuticals Company to market and distribute ‘Vonoprazan’ in India under the brand name ‘Vonefi’. Vonoprazan (PCAB or Potassium Competitive Acid Blocker) addresses severe acid related disorders like reflux esophagitis through a once daily dose. This license will enable Abbott, a leader in the gut health space, to enhance access to this novel therapy to more patients across India.

The Phoenix Mills’ (PML) wholly owned subsidiary -- Casper Realty has been declared as the highest bidder for two prime city-centric plots in Mohali, Punjab. These plots -cumulatively admeasuring around 13.14 acres and located in Sector 62, YPS Chowk, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar (Mohali) - were auctioned by Greater Mohali Development Area Authority (GMADA). Casper was declared as the highest bidder, with a combined bid value of approximately Rs 891 crore. The payment shall be completed within the timelines stipulated by GMADA.

Dhruv Consultancy Services in association with Tritia Engenharia Lda has received the Letter Of Contract Award (LOA) towards the Consultancy Services in form of evaluation of High Crash Locations, Design of Roads Improvements, Preparation of Tender Documents, Support to ANE, IP during the Bidding Period and Supervision of the Implementation of the Works from the office of Director General – Departamento De Aquisicoes, Mozambique (‘the Authority’) dated September 17, 2024, directly by the company i.e. Dhruv Consultancy Services as on September 19, 2024. The contract price for the said Project will be Rs. 4.18 crore including taxes.

Shraddha Prime Projects has launched its new redevelopment project, Shraddha Pratham, located at Magathane, Borivali East, Mumbai. Shraddha Pratham will be a 35-story standalone building that will club the two existing buildings. The project will include 1BHK and 2BHK configurations. The 1BHK units will be approximately 350 sq. ft., while the 2BHK units will be 560 sq. ft., all within the RERA carpet area guidelines. Shraddha Pratham will include the best rooftop facilities as well as a gymnasium.

Jyothy Labs has signed business purchase agreement with Smartwash Solutions for acquiring its brand ‘Quiclo’ along with its software and customer database under its Laundry Service business. The proposed transaction will help the company in strengthening its laundry service business and customer base in Hyderabad.

Tata Communications has raised Rs 250 crore through Commercial Paper. The said Commercial Paper will be redeemed on December 17, 2024. The commercial Paper has issued at 7.33% p.a. discount rate. The said Commercial Paper has been listed on National Stock Exchange of India on September 19, 2024.

IIFL Finance has announced that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has lifted restrictions on its gold loan operations. The company can now resume its lending activities after addressing previous regulatory concerns regarding loan processes.
