Dalmia Bharat moves up on reporting 6.51% growth in June despatches

Dalmia Bharat is currently trading at Rs. 130.55, up by 1.55 points or 1.20% from its previous closing of Rs. 129.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 130.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 130.55 and Rs. 130.55 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 204.00 on 10-Jan-2013 and a 52 week low of Rs. 108.05 on 04-Jul-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 133.00 and Rs. 126.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1059.93 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 62.80% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.11% and 25.10% respectively.

Dalmia Bharat has reported 6.51% growth in June despatches at 785 thousand tonnes as compared to 737 thousand tonnes in June 2012. The company’s June production too has increased by 6.87% to 778 thousand tonnes as against 728 thousand tonnes in June 2012.

The company had reported 7% growth in May despatches at 865 thousand tonnes as compared to 809 thousand tonnes in May 2012. The company’s May production increased 8% to 859 thousand tonnes as against 796 thousand tonnes in May 2012.

Dalmia Bharat is a cement manufacturer with plants in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh with a capacity of nine million tonnes per annum. The company is engaged in the business of cement, thermal power & other businesses.
