Havells India is planning to complete the expansion of its manufacturing plant at Baddi, Himachal Pradesh in a month. With this initiative, the company aims to double the capacity to 10 lakh stock keeping units. It is likely to spend Rs 100 crore on this expansion.
The company has launched India’s first premium conventional switch, Reo, in the Gujarat market. The Baddi plant is expected to manufacture up to five lakh Reo switches annually, which carry a 10-year guarantee. Havells India has 20 manufacturing plants, including six abroad, and 17 business verticals.
