The FIIs as per Tuesday's data were net sellers in equity segments, while net buyers in debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 20375.77 crore against gross selling of Rs 26802.61 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 6426.84 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 4,875.81 crore with gross sales of Rs 2,627.68 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 2,248.13 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 147.47 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 2.14 crore and net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 2098.52 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 96.05 crore against gross selling of Rs 72.79 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 23.26 crore in hybrid segment.
