03 Oct 2024 Evaluate
Gold futures finished lower on Wednesday, saddled by the firmness in dollar and bond yield notes. Moreover, yellow metal investments trimmed as strong US labor data trimmed chances for the Federal Reserve to adopt a more lenient monetary policy. Even though, losses remained capped amidst intensified Middle East crisis with the Iranian missile strikes.

Gold futures for December delivery down by $20.60 or 0.77% to settle at $2,669.70 per ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold down by $2.74 or 0.10% to $2,655.95 an ounce.
