The FIIs as per Wednesday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 15789.06 crore against gross selling of Rs 21169.76 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 5380.70 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1107.14 crore with gross sales of Rs 2581.71 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1474.57 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net buyers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 588.77 crore, they stood at net buyers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 168.22 crore and net sellers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 2231.56 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 78.52 crore against gross selling of Rs 32.60 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 45.92 crore in hybrid segment.
