Bigbloc Construction’s material subsidiary -- Starbigbloc Building Material is planning to install an 800 KW solar rooftop power project. Additionally, a 1350 KW solar rooftop system will be installed at its newly established facility under the joint venture viz. Siam Cement Bigbloc Construction Technologies.
This initiative is part of the company’s commitment to the Green Initiative, aimed at fostering a sustainable environment and reducing carbon footprint. Previously, it successfully installed a rooftop solar power project of 700 KW at its Umargaon Plant and 625 KW at its Wada Plant. With the new order for an additional 2150 KW its total solar capacity will now reach approximately 3475 KW across the company and its subsidiaries.
