16 Oct 2024 Evaluate
Gold futures finished higher on Tuesday, kindled by the sliding dollar and weaker US 10-year bond yield notes after sluggish manufacturing data. Besides, elevated tensions in the Middle East and bets on moderate Fed interest boosted safe haven appeal of the bullion. Meanwhile, investors awaited for more cues ahead to US retail sales data on Thursday and a speech from Fed Governor Waller on Friday.

Gold futures for December delivery up by $13.30 or 0.49% to settle at $2,678.90 per ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold rose by $4.22 or 0.17% to $ 2,667.00 an ounce.
