The FIIs as per Friday's data were net sellers in both equity and debt segments, according to data released by the NSDL.
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 10357.39 crore against gross selling of Rs 17660.38 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 7302.99 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 961.96 crore with gross sales of Rs 1458.17 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 496.21 crore in debt.
Of the total debt, FIIs stood as net sellers in Debt-General Limit segment at Rs 358.25 crore, they stood at net sellers in Debt-VRR segment at Rs 228.14 crore and net buyers in Debt-FAR segment at Rs 90.18 crore.
In the hybrid segment, the gross buying was of Rs 22.33 crore against gross selling of Rs 9.51 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 12.82 crore in hybrid segment.
