Jyoti, Hind Rectifiers and HDFC Bank to see some action today

Jyoti has secured Letter of intent (LoI) from Karan Development Services of Rs 16.16 crore (Excluding GST) for Design, Manufacturing, Supply, Testing and Commissioning of 11 nos. Pumps with HT Motors for Handia Barrage project in Madhya Pradesh. The said order is to be executed in 8/9 months. 

Hind Rectifiers has secured supply orders from Indian Railways. The broad consideration or size of the orders is around Rs 73 crore. The orders are to be executed by FY2025-26. With this, the company now has the highest pending orders in its history, totaling around Rs 903 crore as of October 18, 2024.  

HDFC Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2024 (Q2FY25). The Bank has reported 5.29% rise in its net profit at Rs 16820.97 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 15976.11 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 9.05% at Rs 85499.64 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 78406.23 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. On consolidated basis, the Bank has reported 6.03% rise in net profit at Rs 17825.91 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 16811.41 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 12.91% at Rs 121456.74 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 107566.62 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Dodla Dairy has completed the acquisition of a land parcel admeasuring 35.23 acres at Itkal Village, Dharashiv District, Maharashtra. The company has a strong procurement setup in the state and this land acquisition is a step forward towards setting an integrated plant for the surrounding Solapur district.

Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers has received letters of Intent of Award for Contract for Design, development, construction, Integration of Equipment, Testing, certification, commissioning & supply of One Acoustic Research Ship (ARS) from Naval Physical & Oceanographic Laboratory, Government of India, Ministry of Defence DRDO, Kochi. Broad consideration or size of the order is around Rs 491 crore. The order is to be executed within 36 months from signing of contract. 

Tech Mahindra has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2024 (Q2FY25). The company has reported over 2-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 1,293.80 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 555.80 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 8.28% at Rs 11,860.00 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 10,953.30 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year. On consolidated basis, the company has reported over 2-fold jump in net profit at Rs 1,257.50 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 505.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 5.38% at Rs 13,834.70 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 13,128.10 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals (Alembic) has received final approval from the US Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) Diltiazem Hydrochloride Extended-Release Capsules USP, 120 mg, 180 mg, and 240 mg. The approved ANDA is therapeutically equivalent to the reference listed drug product (RLD), Dilacor XR Extended-Release Capsules, 120 mg, 180 mg, and 240 mg, of Allergan Sales LLC (Allergan). Diltiazem Hydrochloride Extended-Release Capsules USP are indicated for the treatment of hypertension. Diltiazem hydrochloride may be used alone or in combination with other antihypertensive medications, such as diuretics. It is also indicated for the management of chronic stable angina.
