23 Oct 2024 Evaluate
Gold futures finished higher on Tuesday, buoyed by the safe haven appeal of the bullion amidst elevated Middle East tensions and on uncertainties ahead to upcoming tight US presidential election. Moreover, dovish stand by major central banks, following the recent reductions in key lending rates by the PBoC and ECB also supported the positive side.

Gold futures for December delivery rose by $20.90 or 0.76% to settle at $2,759.80 per ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold up by $0.15 or 0.01% to settle at $2,749.16 an ounce.
