FIIs stood as net sellers in equities as per July 9 data: SEBI

FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net sellers in equity segment, while they stood as net buyers in the debt segment, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 2094.30 crore against gross selling of Rs 2334.50 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 240.20 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 883.80 crore with gross sales of Rs 709.80 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 174.00 crore in debt.
