GE Shipping’s arm voluntarily deregistered from June 30

Great Eastern Shipping Company‘s (GE Shipping) step down subsidiary Greatship Subsea Solutions Australia has been voluntarily deregistered with effect from June 30, 2013.

Recently, the company had delivered 1997 built handymax dry bulk carrier ‘Jag Ravi’ of about 45,300 dwt to the buyers. Following this, the company’s current fleet stands at 29 vessels, comprising 21 tankers (9 crude carriers, 11 product carriers, 1 LPG carrier) and 8 dry bulk carriers (1 Capesize, 3 Kamsarmax, 4 Supramax) with an average age of 9.2 years aggregating 2.43 mn dwt.
