BPCL’s Kochi Refinery lays down ATF pipeline at Cochin International Airport

BPCL’s Kochi Refinery has laid aviation turbine fuel (ATF) pipeline at the Cochin International Airport to transport ATF from the refinery to the airport, which earlier used to be supplied from the refinery to the airport by tanker trucks.

The ensure smooth supply, the company has invested around Rs 41 crore for laying down 33 km underground pipeline from the refinery to the airport. With this facility, aviation fuel will be transported through underground pipeline to the international airport apron.
