Gold futures trade lower in early deals of Monday

28 Oct 2024 Evaluate
Gold futures traded lower in early deals of Monday, saddled by the strength in dollar and on rising bond yield notes. Moreover, yellow metal investments got dulled on dampened expectations of aggressive reductions by Federal Reserve and on caution ahead to key US data this week, including PCE inflation, advance estimates for Q3 GDP, and payroll figures. The yellow metal for the most active contract marked gain of 0.9% for the week.

Gold futures for December delivery down by $ 11.6 or 0.42% to $ 2743.00 per ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold dipped by $17.33 or 0.63% to settle at $ 2,730.23 an ounce.
