Garden Reach Shipbuilders and Engineers (GRSE) has signed a contract with the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL on October 29, 2024, for construction of an Acoustic Research Ship (ARS). NPOL is a laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and the signing of the contract added yet another feather to GRSE’s welladorned cap. The value of the contract signed between GRSE and NPOL is Rs 490.98 crore. The overall length of the ARS will be 90 metres and it will be 14 metres wide.
Adani Enterprises has reported over 5- fold jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 1989.19 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2024 as compared to Rs 333.34 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total consolidated income of the company increased by 15.43% at Rs 23196.18 crore for Q2FY25 as compared to Rs 20094.92 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
RITES has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SAIL-Bokaro Steel Plant (SAIL-BSL), under the Ministry of Steel, to collaborate for Project Management Consultancy for rail connectivity works involving both existing and new railway tracks across various sites within the Bokaro Steel Plant in Jharkhand. Under the MoU, RITES will provide comprehensive services, including surveying, engineering, project monitoring, supervision and quality control.
Lemon Tree Hotels has signed a new property--Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels, Amritsar. The property, which shall be managed by Carnation Hotels Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited, is expected to open in FY 2027.
