Siemens has informed that on 29th October 2024 (at around 1.16 pm IST), the Company has received a final assessment order under section 143(3) r.w.s. 144C (13) r.w.s. 144B of the Income-tax Act, 1961 from the Income Tax Department for the assessment year 2021-2022, with a tax demand of INR 1,369.30 million (the ‘Order’). The Company will take necessary steps to rectify and/or contest the said Order with the appropriate forum. The Company does not envisage any material financial impact on account of this Order.
