Copper futures were trading higher on Monday followed by a weaker American currency at overseas markets in spite of the uncertainty over the US presidential election and the Federal Reserve's monetary policy decision. Copper prices improved further as investors are awaiting fresh pledges of stimulus from a meeting of China’s top policymakers this week.
Copper futures for December delivery rose by $0.0385 or 0.88% at $4.41 a pound on the Comex metals division of New York Mercantile Exchange.
