Gold futures finished lower on Monday, pressured by the caution ahead to later today’s US presidential election and Thursday’s Federal Reserve’s monetary policy announcement. However, softer dollar and sliding bond yield notes limited some gains in the yellow metal investments.
Gold futures for December delivery down by $3 or 0.11% to settle at $2,746.20 per ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile. While, spot gold slipped by $0.94 or 0.03% to $2,735.84 an ounce.
