SRS has decided to demerge its cinema division and retail division, and amalgamate the same with its wholly owned subsidiaries, namely SRS Cinemas & Entertainment and SRS Modern Retail, respectively.
These companies shall also be listed at the Stock Exchanges in accordance with the terms of the provisions of Sections 391 to 394 and other applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 1956, subject to necessary regulatory approval.
In this regard, SRS has appointed advisors and other intermediaries for formulating the Structure, Valuations, etc.
SRS is a diversified company with a business portfolio comprising of cinema exhibition, food and beverages, retail and manufacturing and retailing of jewellery. It sells a wide range of gold and diamond jewellery under the brand name of SRS Jewells.
